EDUCATION FREEDOM TAX CREDIT PROGRAM

Beginning January 1, 2027 the federal Education Freedom Tax Credit Program (EFTC) is available. This program will allow Philos to offer greatly reduced Tuition beginning the 2nd semester of the 2026/2027 school year and the entire academic year beginning August 2027.

Benefits to Donors

Donors will be able to give up to $1700 to Ace Scholarships (acescholarships.org) for the benefit of tuition scholarships for Philos students. Donors will be able to receive a tax credit for the donated amount, reducing their federal income tax by that same amount.

For example, give $1700, and reduce your federal taxes by $1700.

Benefit to Philos Families

Students enrolled in Philos for the 2026/2027 school year will be able to receive greatly reduced tuition beginning the 2nd semester (Jan 2027). Beginning with the 2027/2028, the scholarships provided through the ETFC program may eliminate most or all of the tuition.
