WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO VOLUNTEER TO ASSIST OUR TEACHERS
LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED!
Our teachers have a passion for Christ and for the subjects they teach!
Our teachers have been selected because they exude a unique passion for their subjects and how they connect to greater truths about God and His Creation, with the ultimate goal of inspiring this same passion in their students. And above all are committed to building strong faith and Christ-like character in their students. We believe they serve as role models, mentors, and guides for students toward academic excellence and spiritual flourishing.

SOME RESOURCES FOR OUR TEACHERS
Required Reading
“The Lost Tools of Learning” by Dorothy Sayers
“… They are a prey to words in their emotions instead of being the masters of them in their intellects… We have lost the tools of learning…”
Dorothy Sayers first delivered this speech at Oxford University in 1947. She was a prolific author of both non-fiction and fiction. Sayers died in 1957.
Recommended Reading
Today’s education seeks to train students for a future job or a career. Classical Christian education prepares students to be excellent learners, rigorous thinkers, and effective doers.
Battle for the American Mind is more than a book; it’s a field guide for remaking school in the United States. According to the authors, we need to recover a lost philosophy of education – grounded in virtue and excellence – that can arm future generations to fight for freedom.
More Resources
It is the cultivation of wisdom and virtue by nourishing the soul on truth, goodness and beauty so that, in Christ, a student is better able to know, glorify and enjoy God. Practices and subjects are secondary to that.
“A man who has lived in many places is not likely to be deceived by the local errors of his native village; the scholar has lived in many times and is therefore in some degree immune from the great cataract of nonsense that pours from the press and the microphone of his own age.” ~C.S. Lewis
