JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN
Philos Philosophy
Junior Kindergarten is designed for 4 and 5 year olds to help parents prepare their children for a smooth and successful transition into Kindergarten.
Our program teaches young children through the lens of God as creator of everything, to interact respectfully in a classroom environment and increase their attention span. It is a place where they can readily learn and play together. [Junior Kindergarten students must reach 4 years of age by August 15th.]
Classical Christian education places high value on reading great books. Young children soak up vast amounts of knowledge by hearing many classical children’s books read aloud. They become critical thinkers, strengthen their ability to retain information, increase their vocabulary and learn how to express themselves through speech. Pre-K students enjoy memorizing and reciting Bible verses and nursery rhymes.
This early training prepares them well for future education in the classical Christian education.
